Audit and Assurance’s purpose is to enhance the degree of confidence of its intended users of audited financial reports. This is achieved by the expression of our opinion on weather the financial statements are prepared, in all material respects, in accordance with an applicable financial reporting framework. In the case of most general-purpose frameworks that opinion is on whether the financial statements are presented fairly, in all material respects, or give a true and fair view in accordance with the framework. Our audits are conducted in accordance with ISAs and relevant ethical requirements enables us to form that opinion.
HLB Botswana has policies and methodologies for the conduct of audits and have designed an Audit and Assurance manual in the conduct of audits in accordance with the international standards on auditing and international auditing practice statements. we conduct of review engagements in accordance with International standards on review engagements, the conduct of agreed upon procedures in accordance with international standards on related services.
